You're not imagining it. You're not weak. And you are not "just getting older."
You are navigating one of the most complex hormonal transitions of your life — and most of conventional medicine is not equipped to address it with the depth it deserves.
That's exactly why this practice exists.

My career began in conventional medicine. Over 30 years, I cared for patients in intensive care units and emergency departments, and I spent years as a university nursing professor — educating and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Throughout those years, I witnessed extraordinary advances in medicine. But I also noticed something that troubled me.
Women were coming in with fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, hormone imbalances, poor sleep, and a long list of symptoms that didn't have clean answers. Too often, the focus was on managing what they felt rather than understanding why they felt it. They left with more questions than answers. I knew there had to be a better way.

Despite decades in clinical healthcare, I found myself frustrated by the same system I had worked within. My own symptoms weren't being taken seriously. The underlying factors weren't being addressed. Through functional medicine, I discovered a completely different approach — one focused on identifying root causes, restoring balance, and supporting the body's natural ability to heal.
What I found in the research wasn't just a solution to how I felt. It was a gap I hadn't been trained to see — in myself, in my patients, in how medicine cares for women in midlife.
The data connecting estrogen decline to Alzheimer's risk stopped me. Not the hot flashes. Not the sleep disruption. The Alzheimer's research. That was the moment I made the decision — for myself first, and then for every patient after.
The transformation I experienced changed not only my health, but the direction of my career.
Today, I combine the science of conventional medicine with the personalized, root-cause approach of functional medicine to help women uncover what's really driving their symptoms — and protect their health for the decades ahead.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me with the people I love most — my husband, my daughter, and our Labrador Retriever.
I believe health is about far more than lab results and symptom checklists. It's about having the energy to fully enjoy your life, create meaningful memories, pursue your passions, and show up as your best self every day. For me, that means time outdoors, sunshine, fresh air, and the beach whenever I can get there.
I'm also a lifelong learner. I genuinely enjoy studying, researching, and continuing my education so I can bring the most current and effective strategies to the women I serve. Whether I'm exploring the latest research on hormones, functional medicine, nutrition, or healthy aging — I'm always looking for better ways to help my clients achieve lasting vitality.
One thing I feel deeply: too many women are told that fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, poor sleep, and declining energy are simply a normal part of getting older.
I don't believe that.
I believe these can be some of the most vibrant, energetic, and fulfilling years of your life — when your body is given the support it needs. My mission is to help every woman I work with know that feeling better is possible, and that sometimes the best years are still ahead.

I work with one specific population: women between 40 and 55 who are symptomatic, have done their research, and are ready for a practitioner who treats that knowledge as a starting point.
My approach is a four-pillar framework — food, stress, toxins, and bioidentical HRT — applied in sequence, for specific clinical reasons.
The goal is not just symptom relief. It is long-term protection of your brain, your bones, and your cardiovascular health for the next 30 years.
